First Officer – East Region (NetJets)

🧭 Your mission

Deliver safe, technically precise flight operations while providing a warm, detail-driven experience. From pre-flight greetings and clear briefings to thoughtful in-flight service, you’ll be the trusted professional Owners count on—and the operational authority ensuring every flight meets the highest safety and service standards.

🧰 What you’ll do

• Operate from taxi to touchdown in accordance with FAA regulations, OEM checklists, and NetJets Flight Operations and Aircraft Operating Manuals.
• Serve as the final authority on the aircraft for operational and regulatory compliance matters.
• Greet Owners and passengers, verify itineraries, provide weather and safety briefings, and communicate any trip changes clearly.
• Deliver in-flight service, including coordinating/serving catering and handling alcohol service when needed.
• Load and properly stow baggage when required; support flights with pets and those involving smoking passengers.
• Act as the liaison with Owners/passengers from FBO arrival through destination departure, ensuring a seamless experience.
• Promptly report maintenance discrepancies to the Fleet Maintenance Control Center and complete required documentation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned in support of safe, efficient, and exceptional operations.

🌟 What you’ll bring

• Certificates & documents
  • FAA Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) or Restricted ATP (R-ATP) with multi-engine rating; or meet FAA ATP/R-ATP eligibility under 14 CFR 61.160.
  • ATP written exam completed prior to indoctrination training.
  • Current FAA First-Class Medical.
  • FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
  • Valid U.S. passport; authorization to work in the U.S.; ability to travel internationally without restriction.
  • Valid state driver’s license.
  • Ability to obtain airport authority and/or U.S. Customs security badges; pass TSA background screening.
  • Age 21+; fluent in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Minimum flight time
  • Total time pathways (one of the following): 1,500 hours total; or 1,250 with an eligible university R-ATP; or 1,000 with military qualification; or 1,000 with an eligible university R-ATP.
  • Cross-country: 200 hours (over 50 NM legs).
  • PIC (fixed-wing): 250 hours.
  • Night: 100 hours; or 75 hours with at least 45 night takeoffs and landings.
  • Instrument: 75 hours (actual or simulated in-flight; simulator time excluded).
  • Multi-engine (fixed-wing): 50 hours.

• Physical & operational readiness
  • Lift/carry up to 50 lbs occasionally, 30 lbs frequently, and 10 lbs continuously.
  • Comfort working around animals and operating flights for Owners who smoke.

🕑 Schedule & lifestyle

• Flexible scheduling across days/nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Duty days up to 14 hours; up to eight consecutive duty days per trip.
• Travel across time zones and varying weather conditions.
• Overnights away from home, frequently seven or more consecutive nights in hotels.
