As a regular, full‑time DC‑6 First Officer with Everts Air, you’ll support safe, compliant operations, exercising impeccable airmanship, strong checklist discipline, and superb crew coordination on every leg.

Employment: Regular, full-time
Reports to: Chief Pilot (administratively); operates under the Captain’s authority
Compensation: $106 per block hour

✈️ About the role

In this seat, you’ll be an integral part of a two‑pilot crew, executing flight preparation, aircraft inspections, and all pilot‑monitoring duties to the highest standard. You’ll assist with passenger handling when applicable, supervise fueling and cargo operations, and ensure operational documentation and currency are always up to date.

🧭 What you’ll do

Operate under the Captain’s direction while adhering to all company manuals, procedures, letters of instruction, and operations bulletins.
Before departure: confirm legal proficiency and rest; obtain and verify current airway/airport charts; assist with flight planning; conduct a thorough exterior inspection; run and respond to all checklists.
As pilot monitoring: handle normal radio communications and position reports; assume secondary responsibilities as delegated by the Captain.
For passenger operations: assist the flight attendant with escorting, enplaning, and deplaning passengers.
Fuel and cargo: monitor and supervise fueling; oversee cargo loading; verify security and balance in accordance with the load schedule/plan; watch for any damage to cargo systems or aircraft structure; assist with securing cargo; observe and support third‑party loading/unloading as required.
Post‑flight: audit the trip envelope, verify all required documents are present, and initial checklists as required.
Training and currency: complete annual recurrent training, all assigned CBT on time, and maintain 90‑day currency.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Captain or supervisor.

🧰 What you’ll bring

FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP or Restricted ATP).
Current First‑Class FAA Medical Certificate.
FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
Minimum 2,000 hours total time, including: 500 hours multi‑engine (MEL) and 500 hours jet or turboprop experience.
Professional demeanor and appearance; fluent English communication.
Current U.S. Passport; ability to obtain airport security clearance.
Authorization to work in the United States and a valid government‑issued ID or driver’s license.
