First Officer – Cessna Citation XLS (Remote/Rotational, Kinston NC)

🧭 Your Mission

As the Citation XLS First Officer, you will assist the PIC with all phases of flight to ensure safe, compliant, and customer-focused operations on domestic Part 135 assignments. You’ll blend flight-deck excellence with crew coordination and elevated passenger care.

🧰 What You’ll Do

• Conduct safe, efficient flight operations in accordance with FARs, company procedures, and the PIC’s direction.
• Support all preflight planning and aircraft preparation, including performance, weather, NOTAMs, and regulatory checks.
• Lead and coordinate with crew members to ensure clear communication and smooth operations.
• Deliver premium passenger care: greet, brief, assist with seating, stowage, and in-flight requests.
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, safety, and service at all times.
• Maintain required certificates and report any condition that may impact flight duties.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by the PIC or Chief Pilot.

🧠 What You Bring

• Certificates & Medical: Completed ATP (Restricted or Unrestricted), FAA First Class Medical, appropriate type rating.
• Flight Time: Minimum 2,000 hours fixed-wing total time and 200 hours multi-engine.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Solid working knowledge of FARs applicable to Part 135; strong familiarity with FAA, ICAO, and other international operations regulations.
• Operational Skills: Excellent organization, multitasking, time management, problem-solving, critical thinking, and rapid learning abilities.
• Communication: Clear, professional English—verbal and written; strong interpersonal and presentation skills; ability to handle difficult conversations.
• Tech: Proficiency with Microsoft Office and modern web/mobile applications; accurate data entry skills.
• Travel Readiness: Valid passport; ability to obtain and maintain CANPASS for unrestricted commercial travel to/from Canada.
• Work Authorization: Authorized to work lawfully in the United States; able to provide two forms of federal identification.
• Screenings: Safety‑sensitive FAA role subject to pre‑employment and random drug/alcohol testing; successful completion of comprehensive background checks (employment, education, criminal history, and suitability).
• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Professional Standards: Well‑groomed appearance; adherence to department dress code.
• Physical & Environmental: Ability to see/hear clearly; work in loud, outdoor, hangar, industrial, tight, and extreme‑temperature environments; climb, twist, bend, crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl, sit/stand/walk for extended periods; lift/move up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 70 lbs; work in all weather as needed.
