First Officer – B737/A330/Q400 (Type‑Rated) | RwandAir, Kigali
✈️ Join RwandAir as a Type‑Rated First Officer
Bring your skill, professionalism, and type expertise to RwandAir. As a First Officer on our B737, A330, or Q400 fleet, you will be nominated by management to serve as Co‑Pilot for each flight or series of flights, partnering with experienced Captains to deliver safe, efficient operations across our network.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Serve as Co‑Pilot (First Officer) as nominated by RwandAir management on the B737, A330, or Q400 fleet.
- Execute First Officer duties in accordance with company SOPs, ICAO standards, and applicable regulations.
- Conduct thorough preflight planning, including performance, weight and balance, fuel, and briefing.
- Operate and monitor aircraft systems, FMS, and radios; manage normal and non‑normal procedures.
- Demonstrate exemplary CRM, threat and error management, and a proactive safety mindset.
- Contribute to on‑time, customer‑focused operations while upholding RwandAir’s professional standards.
🧰 Minimum qualifications
- Total time: 1,500 hours
- In type: 500 hours on B737, A330, or Q400 (as applicable)
- Type rating: Required and shown on license (B737 / A330 / Q400)
- License: CPL with IR and ME
- Accepted licenses: EASA, FAA, or ICAO
- Medical: Class 1
- ICAO English: Level 4 or higher
- Radio Telephony: License or endorsement on flight crew license
- Safety record: No history of accidents/incidents due to the pilot’s gross negligence
- Relocation: Willing to relocate permanently to Kigali, Rwanda
