We are seeking skilled and experienced pilots to join our team in Johannesburg, South Africa. As a pilot, you will be responsible for safely operating our aircraft and ensuring the comfort and safety of passengers and crew.

  • Employment: Permanent

  • Aircraft: Reims-Cessna F406 Caravan II (multi-engine turboprop)
  • Type rating: Not required — training provided (NTR)
  • License required: CPL (ICAO)
  • Medical: Class 1
  • Language proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher

✈️ The opportunity

Join a professional multi-crew operation where safety, teamwork, and precision flying come first. As First Officer on the F406, you will work closely with the Captain to deliver reliable service across our regional network while building multi-engine, turbine, and operational experience.

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Support the Captain through all phases of flight: planning, preflight, departure, en‑route, approach, and post‑flight.
  • Conduct performance calculations, weight-and-balance, and fuel planning to company standards.
  • Execute SOPs, checklists, and CRM practices to the highest standard.
  • Operate safely in both IFR and VFR environments.
  • Champion passenger and crew comfort, communication, and professionalism.
  • Assist with ground operations, dispatch coordination, and flight documentation.

🧰 Minimum requirements

  • Total time: 1000 hours
  • PIC time: 500 hours
  • Multi-engine: 100 hours
  • Multi-engine PIC: 200 hours
  • License: CPL (ICAO)
  • Medical: Class 1
  • ICAO ELP level: 4
  • Type rating: Not required — training provided
  • Preference: Preference will be given to local candidates

Applicants not currently type-rated on the F406 are welcome to apply; comprehensive training is provided.
