🧭 Position Overview

The Commander (Pilot‑in‑Command) holds overall responsibility for the safe operation of the aircraft, the welfare of passengers and crew, and full compliance with applicable regulations in every phase of flight. This role demands strong leadership, technical proficiency, and decisive judgment under varying operational conditions.

🧰 Key Responsibilities

• Exercise command authority to ensure the highest standards of flight safety and operational discipline.
• Plan and execute flights in compliance with ECCAA regulations, company operations manuals, and SOPs.
• Lead and mentor the flight deck and cabin teams, fostering open communication and collaborative decision‑making.
• Monitor aircraft performance, weather, NOTAMs, and operational constraints; adapt plans to changing conditions.
• Manage all normal, abnormal, and emergency procedures with calm, timely, and compliant actions.
• Champion a customer‑focused experience while safeguarding safety, punctuality, and operational integrity.
• Ensure accurate documentation, reports, and post‑flight briefings as required by company and authority.

• Type Rating: Not required; training provided by LIAT (2020) Limited.

Candidates must be eligible to meet all regulatory and company qualification standards prior to line release.
