Scoot is scaling our Embraer narrow-body operations and inviting seasoned turboprop Captains to transition into commercial jet command on the E‑Jet family. If you bring proven leadership, uncompromising safety standards, and operational discipline, we’ll provide a supported pathway to the flight deck of the E170/E190.

🧭 Your impact as Captain
- Lead safe, compliant operations and champion procedural discipline.
- Exercise sound judgement in diverse operating environments.

🧰 Jet transition & training
- Direct Entry Captain pathway with full type conversion on the E170/E190.
- Comprehensive ground school, simulator phases, and line training.
- Focused development on jet handling, automation management, and multi‑crew decision‑making.
- Ongoing proficiency and safety leadership development.
🌟 What you’ll need
- Total time: 4,000+ hours on aeroplanes with MTMA ≥ 5,700 kg
- Multi‑engine turbine PIC: 2,000 hours (exclude P1 U/S hours)
- Experience: PIC time on multi‑engine turboprop, multi‑crew commercial transport aircraft
- Licence: ATPL issued by the CAAS or an ICAO state
- Conversion (if foreign ATPL): CAAS licence conversion including valid IR and proficiency check with at least 6 months’ remaining validity
- Medical: Class 1
- English proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher
- Vaccinations: Meets CAAS requirements
- Type rating: Not required — training provided
