✈️ The Mission
National Airlines Captains are overall responsible for the safe and reliable operation of our B747 and A330 aircraft.
- Exercise full command authority to deliver safe, on-time operations across a global network.
- Lead crews with exceptional CRM, adherence to SOPs, and disciplined decision-making in all phases of flight.
- Operate in diverse environments, maintaining professional standards and operational excellence.

🧭 Minimum Qualifications
- Total time: 5,000 hours
- Part 121 time: 1,000 hours
- Command/crew experience: Minimum 1,000 hours as PIC or SIC to qualify per FAR 121.436 (hours must be obtained under Title 14 CFR).
- License: FAA ATP (an ATP issued with a CIRC APCH–VMC Only limitation is acceptable)
- Medical: Class 1
- Type rating: Not required — training provided
- Preferred: Multiple type ratings and varied aircraft experience
🧰 Additional Requirements
- Hold an FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Valid U.S. or foreign passport with applicable visas for international travel (passport valid for at least one year from application date).
- Foreign nationals must be able to obtain all required visas to operate National Airlines flights.
- U.S.-based pilots must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Willingness to complete a 10-year background screening, including Pilot Records Database (PRD) check, DOT pre-employment drug testing, and Criminal History Record Check (CHRC).
- Meet all entry/exit requirements for jurisdictions served, which may include valid passports, visas, and required vaccinations per local health rules.
- Maintain current travel documents at all times, including during training and active operations.
