Direct Entry B737 First Officers (Non-Type Rated) – Fast Track to Captain | Buzz, Ryanair Group

✈️ The opportunity

Buzz, part of the Ryanair Group, is hiring experienced B737 First Officers on a non-type-rated intake for rapid progression to Captain. This is not a cadet role. We are looking for highly motivated pilots with significant multi-crew experience who want to join Europe’s largest airline group, fly a modern Boeing 737 fleet, and accelerate their command timeline.

🧭 Your mission

• Operate as First Officer on the B737-800 and B737-8200, delivering safe, efficient and on-time operations.
• Uphold SOPs, the highest safety standards, and effective CRM across a dynamic network.
• Engage in recurrent training and checking to maintain regulatory and company standards.
• Contribute to a strong team culture focused on performance, customer service, and continuous improvement.

🧰 What you’ll bring

• Right to work: Unrestricted right to live and work in the EU.
• Age: Date of birth not over 65 years old.
• Licences: Valid EASA Part-FCL licence holder; CPL(A) with valid MEIR.
• Medical: Valid EU (Part-MED) issued Class 1 medical certificate.
• Theory: ATPL(A) theoretical knowledge examinations passed (FCL.515).
• Hours: Minimum 700 hours total time, including at least 500 hours as First Officer on multi-crew, multi-engine commercial air transport aircraft (Flight Instructor hours excluded).
• Currency: MEIR must be valid on assessment date; MEIR expiry cannot exceed 12 months from course commencement.
• Language: English Language Proficiency minimum ICAO Level 4 (including written).
• Vetting: Ability to pass an enhanced background check and meet all regulatory requirements.
• Type rating: B737 type rating training required (non-type rated position; training to be undertaken prior to line operations).

📝 Training & assessment
