✈️ The opportunity

Global Airways Lithuania is a worldwide ACMI operator deploying A320 family aircraft to airline partners across dynamic seasonal networks. As a Direct Entry Captain, you will lead safe, efficient operations on behalf of our customers while enjoying meaningful time off on a predictable rotation.

Our seasonal flying is primarily in Northern Hemisphere countries such as Turkey, Greece, Armenia, Moldova, and Czechia, with additional deployments to South Africa in the Southern Hemisphere.

🧭 Rotation & lifestyle

  • Typical rotation: 6–8 weeks on / 3–4 weeks off
  • Operating regions: Northern Hemisphere (e.g., Turkey, Greece, Armenia, Moldova, Czechia) and South Africa
  • Contract type: Permanent employment

🧰 Minimum requirements

  • 3,000 hours as PIC on aircraft heavier than 20T
  • ATPL issued by EASA or SACAA
  • Type rating: Not required — A320 family training provided (NTR)
  • Medical: Class 1
  • English proficiency: ICAO ELP level 4 or higher
  • Visa sponsorship: Provided

  • Command A320 family operations for partner airlines under ACMI contracts.
  • Champion safety, regulatory compliance, and SOPs across varied bases and seasonal environments.
  • Lead and mentor multicultural flight crews, fostering a professional, collaborative cockpit culture.
  • Deliver reliable performance on multi-sector, short- and medium-haul schedules.
  • Represent Global Airways Lithuania with professionalism at all times.

🎓 Training & type rating

No A320 type rating? No problem. We provide the required A320 family training and onboarding for qualified Captains meeting the experience criteria. Continuous training and checking are conducted in line with regulatory standards.

  • This position is with Global Airways Lithuania. It is not a role with Global Airways South Africa or LIFT.
