🧭 What you’ll do
- Command Dash 8 Q‑Series operations with an unwavering commitment to safety, compliance, and SOP discipline.
- Exercise sound Captain’s decision-making in diverse weather and terrain, ensuring professional, on-time performance.
- Lead and mentor flight and cabin crew, fostering a just culture and excellent CRM.
- Plan, brief, and execute flights efficiently, optimizing performance, fuel, and payload within operational limits.
- Represent the flight deck with professionalism to customers, communities, and operational partners.
🧰 What you bring
- Minimum total time: 3,000 hours
- PIC time: 500 hours
- Multi‑engine: 500 hours
- Turbine: 500 hours
- Licence: ATPL (TCCA) with valid Class 1 Medical
- Language: Bilingual French/English; Inuktitut an asset
- Security/Travel: Able to obtain and hold a RAIC; valid Passport
- Communication: ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4+
📊 Flight time pathways
Meet one of the following experience profiles:
- 3,000 hours total time (meeting the PIC, Multi‑engine, and Turbine minima above); or
- 5,000 hours total time, including 500 hours PIC in 703/704 operations.
705 operations experience is valued.
🌟 Preferred
- Dash 8 time (Q‑Series strongly preferred)
- Northern or remote flying experience
- Experience in 705 airline operations
🎓 Training
No type rating? No problem. This is an NTR role — a full Dash 8 Q‑Series training program and recurrent training are provided.
