🧭 The opportunity

As a Dash 8 Q400 Line Training Captain, you will deliver line training and operational mentoring while safeguarding standardisation and compliance with EASA Air OPS and Part-FCL. You will help embed a safety-first culture and elevate pilot performance across our growing network.

  • Deliver LIFUS, route checks and recurrent line training to company standards.
  • Coach First Officers and Captains, reinforcing CRM, TEM and evidence-based decision-making.
  • Champion SOP standardisation, briefings, and best-practice techniques for the Q400.
  • Support simulator preparation/training as required and ensure accurate training records.
  • Collaborate with the Training Manager and Standards team on syllabus and procedure enhancements.
  • Lead by example with professionalism, integrity and calm, decisive leadership.

🌟 Minimum requirements

  • Total time: 2,500 hours
  • PIC time: 1,000 hours
  • Type rating: Dash 8 Q400 — required
  • Currency: Recent line or simulator training experience
  • Licence required: EASA ATPL, TRI
  • Open to licence holders: EASA
  • Medical: Class 1
  • ICAO ELP level: 4+
