🧭 Your Operation

From coastal communities to major regional hubs, you’ll command reliable Dash 8 turboprops in some of Canada’s most rewarding and operationally rich environments. Expect a mix of scheduled flying and dynamic charter work spanning Canada and Eastern North America.

Serve 27 scheduled destinations across NL, NS, NB, QC, and ON
Operate a three-type Dash 8 fleet: ‑100, ‑300, and Q400
Bid from bases in St. John’s, Halifax, or Montreal
Experience seasonal variety: coastal weather, winter ops, short-field performance

🧰 What You’ll Do

Lead safe, efficient operations from preflight to shutdown in accordance with company SOPs and regulatory standards
Exercise sound command decision-making in varied weather and operational environments
Foster strong CRM, mentoring First Officers and supporting a collaborative flight deck culture
Manage performance planning, weight and balance, de/anti‑icing, and on‑time execution
Represent the company with professionalism when interacting with customers, crews, and operational partners

🌟 What You’ll Bring

Valid TCCA ATPL
Current Class 1 Medical
ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher
Eligible to obtain and maintain a RAIC
Current passport at time of hire; able to travel to the United States without restrictions
High school diploma (or equivalent)
Type rating on Dash 8 not required — full training provided

As a Direct Entry Captain, you’ll complete company-provided Dash 8 differences or type training as applicable, followed by recurrent training to keep you current across procedures, safety, and seasonal operations.
