  • Aircraft: De Havilland Canada Dash 8
  • Type Rating: Not required (Training provided)
  • Total Time: Minimum 500 hours
  • Licences: TCCA only — IATRA, IR, ME required
  • Medical: Class 1
  • Languages: English and French (Spoken FR: Advanced; Written FR: Intermediate)
  • ICAO ELP: Level 4 or higher
  • Visa Sponsorship: Not provided (must have legal right to work in Canada)

🧭 Your mission

  • Operate the Dash 8 safely and efficiently under the direction of the Captain, adhering to company SOPs and all regulatory requirements.
  • Plan and execute IFR flights: performance, fuel, weather, NOTAMs, weight and balance, and alternate planning.
  • Conduct thorough preflight inspections, checklist discipline, and systems monitoring in all seasons, including winter and de/anti‑icing operations.
  • Communicate clearly with ATC, ground teams, and customers in both English and French; practice exemplary CRM.
  • Support a just culture: identify hazards, file safety reports, and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Represent the airline professionally during regular and irregular operations, maintaining punctuality and reliability.

🧰 What you bring

  • Minimum 500 hours total flight time.
  • Proven experience in multi‑engine aircraft and IFR flight.
  • Valid TCCA licences: IATRA, IR, ME.
  • Current Class 1 Medical.
  • ICAO English Language Proficiency Level 4 or higher.
  • Bilingual: English and French — Spoken French Advanced; Written French Intermediate.
  • Excellent communication, situational awareness, and CRM skills.
  • Residence in the Val‑d’Or area with 90‑minute reliable availability.
  • Legal right to work in Canada (no visa sponsorship available).
