Dash 8 First Officer — Charter & Cargo Operations (Calgary)

Summit Air is hiring experienced Dash 8 First Officers for its Calgary, AB base to support charter and cargo missions across Canada. 🧭 What you’ll do

• Partner with the Captain to conduct safe, efficient Dash 8 operations in accordance with SOPs and regulations.
• Execute thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, and weight & balance for charter and cargo missions.
• Monitor aircraft systems and flight progress; manage checklists and communications with ATC and ground teams.
• Support cargo handling oversight and passenger care while upholding rigorous safety and security standards.
• Operate confidently in diverse environments, including remote and northern destinations; mountain experience an asset.
• Contribute to a proactive safety culture through reporting, continuous learning, and recurrent training.

🧰 What you bring

• License: Current Canadian ATPL or written IATRA.
• Total time: Minimum 1000 hours total flight time.
• Multi-engine: Minimum 500 hours multi-engine time.
• Type rating: Dash 8 type rating preferred.
• Security: Ability to obtain a Canadian RAIC.
• Experience assets: British Columbia and mountain flying experience.
• Safety: Strong commitment to a safety-first culture; successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol testing.
• Soft skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; collaborative team mindset.
