🧭 Your mission
Operate the Dash 8 safely, efficiently, and professionally while supporting the Captain in all phases of flight. You’ll thrive in dynamic weather and terrain, uphold a strong safety culture, and deliver a calm, customer-focused experience on every sector.
- Execute SOPs, checklists, and flight profiles to the highest standard of airmanship.
- Assist with flight planning, performance calculations, and briefings/debriefings.
- Manage clear, concise communications with ATC, dispatch, and ground operations.
- Maintain situational awareness in challenging Arctic conditions and remote airfields.
- Champion safety reporting, CRM, and continuous improvement in daily operations.
- Model Air Greenland’s core values in every interaction with colleagues and customers.
🧰 Training and development
We welcome NTR pilots. You’ll receive a comprehensive Dash 8 type rating and line training program, with ongoing recurrent training, CRM, and performance development to help you progress and maintain readiness for future command opportunities.
🌟 What you’ll bring
- Valid EASA Frozen ATPL with IR, ME, MCC, and UPRT.
- Unrestricted Class 1 Medical.
- ICAO English Level 5 (or higher).
- Proficiency in English and Scandinavian languages.
- Clean criminal record and full compliance with background checks.
- Unrestricted right to live and work in Greenland and the EU (no visa sponsorship).
- Proactive, safety-first mindset with strong CRM and communication skills.
- Motivation to embrace Air Greenland’s values and the attitude, skills, and knowledge to serve as a First Officer — and grow toward future command.
- Readiness to operate in remote regions, winter conditions, and rapidly changing weather.
