Take command of a proven regional workhorse. We’re seeking a calm, decisive Dash 8 leader with a collaborative cockpit style and an unwavering commitment to safety.
🧭 Your mission
- Command Dash 8 operations with uncompromising adherence to SOPs and regulatory standards.
- Exercise sound judgment in dynamic weather and operational environments to ensure safe, on-time performance.
- Lead effective CRM, mentor First Officers, and foster a just culture within the flight deck.
- Coordinate seamlessly with Dispatch, Maintenance, and Ground Ops to deliver a consistent, customer-first experience.
- Champion SMS reporting, continuous improvement, and a proactive safety mindset.
🧰 What you bring
- Minimum flight time: Total: 4000 hrs | PIC: 2500 hrs | Multi-engine PIC: 2000 hrs
- License: ATPL (TCCA)
- Medical: Class 1
- Language: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher
- Currency: If previously held, a Dash 8 PPC not expired by more than 24 months
- Type rating: Not required; NTR candidates welcome (Dash 8 training provided)
- Soft skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative leadership style
- Safety: Demonstrated commitment to safety culture; successful completion of pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
- Preferred: British Columbia flying experience is a great asset
- Health & compliance: Covid-19 vaccination required where permitted by applicable law
