Dash 8 Captain – Direct Entry (Q100/Q300/Q400)

As a Dash 8 Captain, you’ll lead safe, efficient operations across diverse routes—balancing precision, leadership, and customer care. You’ll set the tone on the flight deck, uphold the highest standards, and deliver reliable service to communities large and small.

• Command Dash 8 operations in accordance with company SOPs, regulations, and safety management principles.
• Lead and mentor the flight deck crew, fostering strong CRM and a positive safety culture.
• Exercise sound decision-making in dynamic regional environments and varied weather conditions.
• Coordinate seamlessly with dispatch, maintenance, and ground teams to keep the operation running on time.
• Champion an exceptional passenger experience on every sector.

From coastal communities to major hubs, your flying will be purposeful and varied—combining scheduled service with unique charter missions.

• Scheduled network: 27 destinations in Newfoundland & Labrador, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Quebec, and Ontario
• Charter operations: Across Canada and Eastern North America
• Bases: St. John’s (YYT), Halifax (YHZ), Montréal (YUL)

• License required: ATPL
• Accepted licenses: TCCA
• Medical: Class 1
• Type rating: Not required (training provided)
• ICAO English level: Level 4 or higher
• Visa sponsorship: Not provided

• Ability to obtain and maintain a RAIC
• Valid passport at time of hire
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. C-1/D visa
• Able to travel to the United States without restrictions
• High school diploma (completed)
