As a Dash 8 Captain, you’ll command multi-crew, IFR operations in diverse weather and terrain, leading a professional team to deliver safe, reliable, and efficient service. 🧭 Your Mission

  • Serve as Pilot-in-Command on Dash 8 operations, upholding the highest standards of airmanship and safety.
  • Execute all phases of multi-crew IFR flight: performance planning, weight and balance, fuel strategy, and operational decision-making.
  • Lead with strong CRM, TEM, and SMS discipline; mentor and develop the flight deck team.
  • Ensure full compliance with Transport Canada regulations and company SOPs.
  • Coordinate effectively with dispatch, maintenance, and ground operations to maintain on-time, passenger-focused performance.
  • Operate confidently in cold-weather and icing environments, applying robust SOPs and sound judgment.

🧰 What You’ll Bring

  • Total Time: 2000 hours minimum
  • Pilot-in-Command Time: 500 hours minimum
  • Relevant Experience: 1000 hours multi-engine, multi-crew, IFR and/or turbine time in 702/703/704/705 operations
  • Turbine Experience: Prior turbine engine experience required
  • License: Valid ATPL (TCCA)
  • Medical: Valid Class 1
  • Language Proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher
  • RAIC: Able to obtain and maintain a Restricted Area Identity Card
  • Passport: Valid passport; able to travel to/from the United States without restrictions
  • Record: No Transport Canada violations or suspensions
  • Work Authorization: Legally entitled to work in Canada; visa sponsorship not provided
