🧭 Your mission

The Deployed ISR Captain for Dash 8 provides safe, effective pilot services for tactical ISR aircraft in challenging, remote locations. You will lead flight operations, uphold the highest standards of airmanship, and execute mission objectives while collaborating closely with a diverse, tight-knit crew.

🧰 What you’ll do

  • Serve as Captain on Dash 8 aircraft configured for ISR missions, ensuring safe, compliant operations from preflight through postflight.
  • Plan and execute missions in austere and dynamic environments; exercise strong judgment in changing conditions.
  • Lead effective CRM with multidisciplinary teams; coordinate closely with mission crew and ground support.
  • Conduct thorough briefings/debriefings, flight planning, performance calculations, and risk assessments.
  • Manage radio communications using your Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit; maintain clear, concise comms under pressure.
  • Operate in close proximity to teammates within enclosed hangars and in exterior weather conditions while adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Maintain currency, proficiency, and compliance with company procedures and regulatory standards.
  • Support basic aircraft care and mission readiness while deployed.

🌟 What you’ll bring (Minimum requirements)

  • Total Time: 1,200 hours
  • PIC Time: 1,000 hours
  • Multi-Engine Turbine PIC: 300 hours
  • Endorsements: High Performance and High Altitude
  • Education: High school diploma
  • Permit: Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
  • Travel: Willing and able to travel ~65 days per rotation; longer if needed
  • Teamwork & Environment: Ability to work as a team member and in close proximity to others in enclosed hangars and exterior weather

Type rating not required; comprehensive Dash 8 and mission training provided for qualified candidates.

  • Dash 8 type rating
  • 3,000 hours PIC total time
  • 1,000 hours total turbine time
  • 200 hours Dash 8 PIC

📜 Certifications & compliance

  • Licenses: CPL, IR, ME (accepted: FAA)

  • Passport: Valid US passport
