🧭 What you’ll do

  • Lead safe aircraft operations for all phases of flight, safeguarding passengers, crew, and ground teams.
  • Operate in full compliance with Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), the Nutrien Operations Manual, and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Conduct thorough pre-flight and post-flight inspections to ensure airworthiness and readiness.
  • Participate actively in the department’s Safety Management System (SMS) and champion a proactive safety culture.
  • Collaborate closely with fellow crew to assess risks, adapt to changing conditions, and communicate itinerary changes to passengers.
  • Maintain the operational integrity of the flight department and respond decisively to environmental changes and in-flight contingencies.
  • Handle operational tasks as needed, including occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by the Chief Pilot Canada or Operations Manager.

🧰 What you’ll bring

  • 10+ years of professional aviation experience with a strong record of safety and professionalism.
  • Transport Canada ATPL and First Class Medical.
  • Minimum 5,000 hours total time, 3,000 hours Pilot-in-Command, and at least 2,000 hours jet experience.
  • Experience in a corporate flight department; large-cabin corporate jet and international operations are strong assets.
  • Gulfstream G550/G450 currency or experience considered a significant advantage.
  • Ability to cross international borders; clean record with no incidents/accidents under CARs.
  • No convictions preventing the holding of a driver’s license or ATPL.
  • Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, business administration, or related field preferred.
  • Exceptional judgment, CRM skills, and a team-first mindset.
