Kiewit owns, operates, and maintains a modern corporate fleet — nine Learjet 70/75s and one Challenger 300 — supporting travel for executives, key staff, and customers across North America. We’re hiring a skilled aviation professional to fly as either Pilot-in-Command (Captain) or Second-in-Command (First Officer), based on your qualifications. This is a permanent, Omaha-based role with a steady weekly rhythm and the opportunity to operate premium light and super-midsize jets.

  • Regions: United States, Canada, Mexico
  • Schedule: Average 3 days / 2 nights per week (varies with demand)
  • Type Rating: Not required — training provided (NTR)

🧭 Your Mission

  • Serve as PIC (Captain) or SIC (First Officer) on Learjet 70/75 and Challenger 300 aircraft, depending on qualifications.
  • Deliver safe, efficient, and customer-focused travel for executives, key staff, and customers throughout North America.
  • Lead and support all phases of flight: flight planning, performance and weight/balance, weather and NOTAM review, fuel strategy, and route selection.
  • Conduct thorough preflight and postflight inspections; coordinate with maintenance and FBOs to ensure aircraft airworthiness and readiness.
  • Adhere to company SOPs and all applicable regulations; maintain exemplary airmanship, decision-making, and crew resource management.
  • Maintain required currency and proficiency, including instrument competency; complete training events and checks as scheduled.
  • Operate within a weekly schedule, with typical travel averaging 3 days/2 nights; be available for overtime and some weekends as required.

  • PIC Time: 1,000 hours
  • Multi-Engine: 500 hours
  • Experience: 2 years of business or airline flying
  • License: FAA ATP
  • Medical: Class 1
  • Radio: Valid aeronautical radiotelephone license
  • Instrument Check: Able to pass an instrument competency check for the category of aircraft flown
  • Work Hours: Able to work normal hours and meet deadlines; available for overtime and weekends as required
  • Preferred: 500+ hours in the aircraft to be flown
