Join ADUSA Aviation as Captain (PIC) and deliver safe, efficient executive air transportation aboard a meticulously maintained Cessna Citation XLS+. You’ll be based in Salisbury, NC, and operate under FAR Part 91, partnering closely with RBS Aviation to uphold uncompromising standards of safety, service, and professionalism.
✈️ Your mission
Lead every flight with a safety-first mindset, flawless preparation, and calm, decisive command. You’ll steward our executives with discretion and exceptional service while optimizing each mission for safety, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Serve as the ultimate authority for flight safety, conducting rigorous preflight and in-flight risk assessment and mitigation.
- Plan and execute flights end-to-end, including routing, fuel planning, performance calculations, and weather/airspace analysis using modern tools and sound judgment.
- Lead and manage assigned crew when acting as PIC, ensuring required qualifications, training currency, and professional performance.
- Verify airworthiness and maintenance compliance during inspections; coordinate with maintenance to uphold regulations and standards.
- Communicate effectively with executives, internal aviation personnel, and external vendors and service providers.
- Make timely, well-reasoned decisions in dynamic operational environments.
- Manage each mission cost-effectively while never compromising safety or regulatory compliance.
- Deliver outstanding passenger care, ensuring a prepared, clean, and comfortable cabin experience.
🧰 What you’ll bring
- ATP (unrestricted) and a valid FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate.
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable FAR Part 91 flight operations experience.
- 4,000+ hours total flight time, including 2,000+ hours multi-engine turbojet.
- 3+ years of experience on the Cessna Citation XLS+ (or similar type).
- Thorough knowledge of FAR Part 91 and ICAO Annexes (filed differences).
- Broad understanding of aircraft operations with deep proficiency in advanced systems and avionics.
- Valid driver’s license.
🌟 Preferred qualifications
- Demonstrated experience with Safety Management System (SMS) processes, including risk analysis and mitigation.
- Knowledge of Human Factors and accident/incident prevention best practices.
