✈️ COMAC C909 Captain – Lead the Line
Step into the left seat on the COMAC C909. We are seeking skilled commanders to join a permanent flight crew roster, with full type training provided for qualified captains from compatible fleets.
🧭 The Opportunity
As a COMAC C909 Captain, you will command safe, efficient operations while mentoring crew and upholding the highest standards of airmanship. This role is ideal for experienced A320 or ATR72 captains looking to transition, as well as commanders already endorsed on the C909.
🧰 Minimum Requirements
- Total Flight Time: 2,000 hours minimum
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 300 hours minimum
- License: ATPL (Open to ICAO license holders)
- Medical: Class 1
- Language Proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher
- Safety Record: No accident or incident resulting in license suspension, revocation, or enforcement action by the competent authority
- Type Rating: Not required — training provided
🌟 Endorsement Pathways
Candidates endorsed on any of the following types are encouraged to apply. Minimums below apply per pathway and may exceed the baseline minimums listed above.
- A320 Endorsed
- Total Time: Minimum 3,000 hours
- On Type (A320): Minimum 1,500 hours
- PIC (A320): Minimum 500 hours
- ATR72 Endorsed
- Total Time: Minimum 2,000 hours
- On Type (ATR72): Minimum 1,000 hours
- PIC (ATR72): Minimum 300 hours
- COMAC C909 Endorsed
- Endorsement: C909 endorsement welcomed
- License Priority: Valid SSCA license is prioritized

- Command C909 operations in accordance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements
- Lead flight deck decision-making and mentor flight crew
- Uphold the highest safety, CRM, and SMS standards
- Ensure on-time performance and operational efficiency
🎓 Training & Transition
- Type Rating: Provided for successful candidates (NTR welcome)
- Recurrent & Checks: Conducted per regulatory standards
📄 Compliance & Documentation
- Valid passport(s) and unrestricted right to travel as required for operational duties
- Up-to-date logbook reflecting required totals and PIC time
- Current Class 1 medical and proof of ICAO ELP Level 4+
- ATPL and type endorsement evidence (where applicable)
