Citation XLS+ First Officer (Type Rated) – Stuttgart

E-Aviation is an owner-managed charter airline flying a modern fleet of private jets across Europe and beyond. We combine airline-level safety with bespoke client service and agile, flexible operations. We are seeking a Stuttgart-based (hybrid) First Officer for the Citation XLS+ — type-rated candidates only.

  • Location: Stuttgart Airport (STR), Baden-Württemberg, Germany — Hybrid base
  • Airline: E-Aviation (owner-managed charter)
  • Aircraft: Cessna Citation XLS+
  • Position: First Officer
  • Type Rating: Citation XLS+ — current and valid (required)
  • License: EASA ATPL(A) or CPL(A) with ATPL credit (fATPL)
  • Medical: EASA Class 1
  • Languages: German & English (B2+); ICAO English Level 4–6
  • Security: Valid ZÜP at start date
  • Mobility: Class B driving licence + own car; unrestricted passport; ideally within ~1 hour of STR

🧭 The Role

Based in Stuttgart with a hybrid base concept (duties commence at STR; select non-flying tasks may be handled remotely), you will fly the Citation XLS+ as First Officer within our on-demand charter network. You will uphold E-Aviation’s exacting safety standards while delivering a discreet, premium experience to our clients.

🧰 What You’ll Do

  • Execute safe, compliant flight operations in line with EASA, company SOPs, and captain’s direction.
  • Lead thorough pre-flight planning, performance calculations, and fuel planning for diverse European destinations.
  • Conduct meticulous pre-/post-flight inspections and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Deliver attentive, personalized service to VIP passengers while protecting privacy and discretion.
  • Maintain on-call readiness, communicate clearly with dispatch, and adapt to changing schedules.
  • Contribute to a just culture by reporting and learning from safety events and best practices.

🌟 What You Bring

  • EASA ATPL(A) or CPL(A) with ATPL credit (fATPL).
  • Current, valid Citation XLS+ type rating.
  • Valid EASA Class 1 Medical.
  • German and English proficiency (B2 or higher) and ICAO English Level 4–6.
  • Valid ZÜP (Zuverlässigkeitsüberprüfung) by start date.
  • Unrestricted passport enabling international travel.
  • Class B driving licence and own vehicle.
  • Reliable smartphone connectivity for phone and data availability.
  • Residence ideally within ~1 hour’s drive of Stuttgart Airport.
