Citation XLS/XLS+ Captain – San Luis Obispo, CA (Part 91/135, NTR)

✈️ About the role

A San Luis Obispo–based Citation XLS Captain, you will perform Part 91 and Part 135 flight operations safely, efficiently, and professionally. You will operate on behalf of ACI Jet’s Part 135 certificate, delivering exceptional service while maintaining strong, positive relationships with teammates, vendors, and clients.

🧭 What you’ll do

• Serve as Captain on the Citation XLS/XLS+ for FAR Part 91 and Part 135 operations.
• Lead safe, compliant flight activities including planning, performance, fuel, weight and balance, weather, routing, and alternates.
• Uphold company SOPs, regulations, and best practices; ensure meticulous flight and regulatory documentation.
• Coordinate closely with dispatch, maintenance, and vendors to optimize aircraft readiness and mission success.
• Model strong CRM, teamwork, and mentorship in a high-tempo environment.
• Deliver discreet, client-focused service that reflects ACI Jet’s standards of professionalism.

🧰 What you bring

• Valid passport; ability to maintain travel readiness.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or 3–5 years of professional aviation experience.
• Proven team player who thrives under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
• Highly motivated, organized, and committed to safety and service.

🛩️ Minimum flight experience

• Total time: 3,500 hours
• PIC time: 2,000 hours
• Multi-engine: 1,500 hours
• Turbine: 500 hours
• Instrument: 300 hours

• Accepted licenses: FAA
• Medical: First Class
• Type rating: NTR — training provided
