Join Jet Linx Aviation as the Pilot in Command for our Citation XLS+ midsize-jet operations based in Houston, Texas. In this full-time role, you’ll lead safe, efficient flights across Part 91 and Part 135 operations while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and compliance.

🧭 Your mission

  • Serve as Pilot in Command, ensuring the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of company aircraft on every leg.
  • Manage duty, flight, and rest times per company policy and Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Lead all phases of flight preparation and execution, including operational communications, flight-document management, and post-flight reporting.
  • Administer and maintain Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) hardware and applications; keep charts, publications, and manuals current.
  • Exercise strong, proactive decision-making and champion Jet Linx core values in all interactions.

🧰 Key responsibilities

  • Maintain continuous communication with the company regarding standby assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre-/post-flight reports.
  • Ensure all operations adhere to company procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Keep personal qualifications current, including a First Class Medical.

🛡️ Minimum qualifications

  • Flight experience minimums
    • 3,500 hours total time
    • 2,000 hours PIC time
    • 1,500 hours multi-engine (including 500 hours multi-engine PIC)
    • 500 hours turbine
    • 300 hours instrument
    • 250 hours total time in type (Citation XLS+)
    • 250 hours PIC time in type
  • Certificates & clearances
    • Ability to obtain an ATP certificate
    • Current First Class Medical
    • Valid U.S. driver’s license and proof of eligibility to work in the United States
    • Current passport and FCC Restricted Radio Operator Permit
    • Unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries
    • Successful FAA Pilot Records Database (PRD) review and release with a System Chief Pilot
  • Education & other requirements
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
    • Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
    • Comfort working in and around aircraft/terminals; ability to frequently move up to 50 pounds
    • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and comply with random drug and alcohol testing (including marijuana, cocaine, opiates, PCP, and amphetamines) for safety-sensitive functions

Preferred: Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type within the past 24 months.
