Citation X First Officer (SIC) — Hayward, CA

✈️ The Opportunity

As the Citation X SIC, you’ll support the Captain in all aspects of flight preparation and execution, ensuring every mission is conducted safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with FARs and company procedures. You’ll represent Jet Linx’s core values on every interaction—with teammates, owners, and passengers—while maintaining operational readiness and professional excellence.

🧭 What You’ll Do

• Partner with the Captain to plan, brief, and execute flights to the highest safety and service standards.
• Manage duty, flight, and rest times in alignment with company policies and the CFRs.
• Maintain open communication for standby assignments, trip notifications, position calls, and pre-/post-flight reporting.
• Administer and maintain the electronic flight bag (EFB)—ensuring apps, charts, publications, and company manuals are current.
• Uphold all medical and currency requirements, including maintaining a current 1st Class Medical certificate.
• Demonstrate proactive decision-making and professional judgment in dynamic, time-sensitive conditions.
• Operate safely in and around aircraft and terminals; handle equipment and baggage up to 50 lbs on a frequent basis.

• Flight Experience (minimums):
  • 2,000 hours total time
  • 500 hours PIC
  • 500 hours multi-engine
  • 100 hours turbine
  • 150 hours instrument
• Certificates & Clearances: ATP (ATP_Unrestricted or ATP_Restricted), current 1st Class Medical, FCC Restricted Radio License.
• Training: Initial or recurrent Part 142 training in type within the last 24 months preferred.
• Eligibility & Travel: Valid U.S. driver’s license; proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.; current passport; unrestricted ability to travel to Canada and Caribbean countries.
• Compliance: Able to release and pass an FAA PRD review with a System Chief Pilot; pass pre-employment and random safety-sensitive drug/alcohol testing (screening includes marijuana, cocaine, opiates, PCP, and amphetamines).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Location: Live in—or be willing to relocate to—the base area; must reside within a two-hour call-out of HWD.
