Citation M2/CJ Series Captain (Type-Rated)

🧭 What You’ll Do

  • Serve as Pilot in Command, ensuring the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and regulatory compliance on every flight.
  • Execute thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, weight & balance, weather/NOTAM review, and risk assessments.
  • Lead with calm, proactive decision-making in dynamic environments, coordinating closely with dispatch, maintenance, and crew.
  • Deliver outstanding passenger care, from warm welcomes to clear communications and a polished cabin experience.
  • Maintain meticulous aircraft, flight, and operational records aligned with company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a strong safety culture through checklist discipline, CRM, and continuous improvement.

🧰 Minimum Flight Experience

  • Total Time: 3,000 hours
  • PIC Time: 2,000 hours
  • PIC in Type: 250 hours (Citation M2/CJ series)
  • Multi-Engine: 1,500 hours
  • Multi-Engine PIC: 500 hours
  • Turbine: 500 hours
  • Type Rating: Required (Citation M2/CJ series)

📜 Licenses, Medical & Compliance

  • License: ATP required
  • Authority: Open to FAA certificate holders
  • Medical: FAA First-Class Medical
  • Radio License: FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
  • Driver’s License: Valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Passport: Current passport
  • Work Authorization: Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not provided
  • Screening: Clear pre-employment drug screen and background check

🔎 Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Part 135 experience
  • Time in additional Citation variants beyond the M2/CJ series
