As Captain, you’ll command the Citation M2/CJ series with professionalism, precision, and poise. You’ll set the tone for safety and service from briefing to shutdown, exercising sound judgment in dynamic environments and communicating clearly with crew, passengers, and operations. Expect a blend of domestic and potential international flying that rewards preparation, teamwork, and proactive decision-making.
🧰 What You’ll Do
- Serve as PIC on the Citation M2/CJ series, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
- Lead thorough preflight planning: weather, routing, performance, weight and balance, fuel, and risk assessment.
- Uphold SOPs, checklist discipline, and top-tier CRM while mentoring and coordinating with the SIC.
- Deliver a refined, customer-first cabin experience through clear communication and professional presence.
- Coordinate with maintenance and scheduling; document discrepancies and ensure airworthiness and dispatch readiness.
- Maintain training, currency, and meticulous records in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
🌟 Minimum Qualifications
- Total Time: 3,000 hours
- PIC Time: 2,000 hours
- PIC in Type: 200 hours (Citation M2/CJ series)
- Multi-Engine: 2,000 hours
- Multi-Engine PIC: 1,800 hours
- Turbine: 1,750 hours
- Type Rating: Required (Citation M2/CJ series)
- Certificate: ATP — FAA
- Medical: Class 1
💡 Preferred Experience
- Previous Part 135 experience
- Time in additional Citation variants
🔎 Additional Requirements
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong, proactive decision-making
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Clear pre-employment drug screen and background check
- FCC Restricted Radio License
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Current passport
