Advance your jet career in the right seat of the Citation Excel/XLS/XLS+. This permanent, SLC-based role puts you at the heart of safe, polished Part 135 operations—where your professionalism, airmanship, and customer care make every mission count. Non–type-rated pilots are welcome; type rating and training provided.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Partner with the Captain to plan and execute safe, efficient flights under Part 135, adhering to SOPs and CRM best practices.
- Lead thorough preflight planning: weather, NOTAMs, performance, and weight & balance.
- Conduct meticulous preflight/turnaround/postflight inspections and ensure aircraft readiness.
- Operate and monitor aircraft systems, manage checklists, radios, and navigation with precision.
- Deliver professional, discreet cabin interactions and a customer-first experience.
- Maintain training currency, records, and a proactive safety mindset at all times.
🧰 Minimum qualifications
- Total Time: 1,500 hours
- Multi-Engine: 200 hours
- Turbine: 100 hours
- Instrument: 100 hours
- Cross-Country: 200 hours
- Licenses: FAA CPL with IR and ME
- Medical: FAA Class 1
- Type Rating: Not required (training provided)
🌟 Preferred
- Prior Part 135 experience.
📍 Base & residency
- Location: Based at Salt Lake City International Airport (KSLC).
- Residency: Must reside within 1 hour of KSLC or commit to relocating within three months of hire.
- Commuting: Not an option for this position.
🧾 Certificates & clearances
- FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
- Valid passport.
- Valid U.S. state driver’s license.
- Ability to pass TSA background checks and obtain a SIDA badge when applicable.

Non–type-rated candidates are encouraged to apply. A Citation Excel/XLS/XLS+ type rating and comprehensive initial training are provided, with recurrent training to keep you sharp and mission-ready.
