Captain – Citation Excel/XLS/XLS+ (Stuttgart)

🧭 The opportunity

As Captain, you’ll lead safe, compliant, and passenger-focused flights on the Citation Excel/XLS/XLS+. You’ll set the tone for operational excellence, uphold company standards, and deliver a calm, confident experience from briefing to block-in.

🧰 Your mission

• Act as Pilot-in-Command on CE-560XL series aircraft across Europe, ensuring the highest safety and service standards.
• Plan, brief, and execute flights in full compliance with regulations and company SOPs, including performance, W&B, MEL, weather, and NOTAM analysis.
• Lead the crew through professional CRM, fostering teamwork, clarity, and continuous improvement.
• Deliver discreet, attentive service to clients while maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism.
• Champion the Safety Management System (SMS): identify hazards, manage risk, and contribute to just-culture reporting.
• Ensure meticulous documentation, flight logs, and regulatory records before, during, and after each mission.
• Support line training and knowledge sharing to elevate overall team performance.
• Maintain operational readiness, including timely communication and availability as rostered.

🌟 Minimum requirements

• Total time: 1,500 hours
• In type: 500 hours on Citation Excel/XLS/XLS+
• Type rating: Required (current)
• License required: Frozen ATPL, IR, ME
• Accepted licenses: EASA
• Medical: Class 1
• ICAO ELP level: 4 or higher
• Language requirements: English and German
• Visa sponsorship: Not provided

• German and English spoken and written (language level B2 or higher).
• A valid security clearance (ZÜP) must be available at the start of employment.
• Passport without restrictions.
• Driving licence class B and own car.
• Telephone accessibility and internet connection on the mobile phone.
• Ideally, place of residence within a 1-hour drive of Stuttgart Airport.
• Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.

🌍 Location & lifestyle

This role operates primarily from Stuttgart Airport (STR). To support roster reliability and short-notice activations, candidates living within about one hour’s drive—or willing to relocate—are preferred.
