✈️ The Opportunity
With 40+ years of aircraft management experience, a fleet approaching 30 aircraft and a team of 130+ aviation professionals worldwide, Sirio is recruiting a Challenger 605 Captain for a permanent position based at Treviso. As Captain, you’ll blend uncompromising safety and technical excellence with premium passenger care, acting as the dedicated liaison from arrival to onward journey.
🧭 What You’ll Do
- Safely and efficiently execute assigned flight schedules in accordance with regulations and manufacturer guidance.
- Personally welcome passengers, brief on itinerary and weather, and communicate any changes throughout the trip.
- Serve as the dedicated liaison between passengers and Sirio from departure FBO to final destination FBO.
- Deliver premium in-flight service, including responsible alcohol service, catering coordination, and careful baggage handling/stowage.
- Prepare, clean, organize, and stock the cabin before each trip to a consistently high standard.
- Perform aircraft preparation and operating tasks: load/unload baggage, thorough pre- and post-flight duties, assist with snow/ice removal, install/remove engine covers, and conduct daily aircraft cleaning as required.
- Manage operational, passenger service, and administrative responsibilities associated with each assignment; perform additional duties as assigned.
🧰 What You’ll Bring
- EASA ATPL and enrollment as Commander in the Italian official register of pilots.
- Minimum 3,000 hours total time and 500 hours multi-pilot instrument.
- Valid ME-IR (A) on EASA licence and either MCC Certificate or Multi-Pilot (MP) Rating.
- Advanced UPRT or training/checking within the preceding 3 years under ORO.FC.220/230 (Part-ORO, EU Reg. 965/2012).
- Valid EASA Class 1 Medical and EU passport.
- English Language Proficiency Level 5+ and professional proficiency in Italian.
- Legal right to work in Europe and ability to travel freely to all Sirio destinations.
- Willingness to be based in Treviso and to work weekends, holidays, nights, shifts, and overnight assignments.
- Successful completion of Initial Training, including a type rating on the assigned fleet, and required background screening.
- Working knowledge of applicable EASA regulations and a strong commitment to compliance.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and teamwork; professional appearance and demeanour.
- IT-literate with email, document creation, and web-based applications.
🌟 Preferred
- Challenger 605 type rating.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Previous Commercial Air Transport experience.
- Previous Corporate Aviation experience.
🛡️ Safety, Physical & Work Environment
- Physical duties include baggage handling, thorough pre-/post-flight tasks, assisting with snow/ice removal, installing/removing engine covers, and daily aircraft cleaning.
- Occasional lifting or moving of up to 23 kg required.
- Work around moving mechanical parts, wet/humid conditions, extreme heat/cold, heights, outside weather, vibration, aviation fuels, lavatory fluid, and loud noise.
