🧭 Mission & impact

Lead the daily operation of Bish’s RV’s flight department as PIC of the Challenger 604. You will be accountable for safe conduct of every mission, dependable aircraft availability, and cost-conscious operations that uphold our high standards and support executive travel needs.

🧰 What you’ll do

  • Serve as Lead Captain (PIC) on the Challenger 604 for domestic and international missions.
  • Own flight department leadership: scheduling, standards, SOPs, and day-to-day decision-making.
  • Champion safety, CRM, and operational risk management on every flight.
  • Plan and execute trips, including route analysis, performance, fuel, alternates, and international handling.
  • Coordinate maintenance actions and inspections; work closely with maintenance providers to maximize dispatch reliability.
  • Manage operating budgets, vendor relationships, and cost control without compromising safety.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance, records, manuals, and training currency.
  • Mentor and lead crew members; foster a disciplined, professional cockpit culture.
  • Ensure the aircraft is consistently available, clean, equipped, and mission-ready.

🌟 What you bring

  • Strong understanding of FAA regulations, international operations, CRM, aircraft performance, and operational risk management.
  • Experience coordinating aircraft maintenance and working with maintenance providers.
  • Ability to pass required background and drug testing.
  • Ability to work a variable schedule and respond to changing travel needs.

📏 Minimum qualifications

  • Total time: 5,000 hours
  • PIC time: 2,000 hours
  • Multi-engine: 1,000 hours
  • Turbine PIC: 1,000 hours
  • Type rating: Challenger 604 (required)
  • License required: ATP
  • Accepted licenses: FAA
  • Medical: Class 1
  • Flight time notes: Significant Part 91 corporate aviation experience
