🧭 What you’ll do
- Serve as Pilot-in-Command, championing safety-first decisions and impeccable airmanship in full compliance with CARs, company SOPs, and SMS practices.
- Own the planning: analyze aviation weather, assess airport/runway performance, complete flight plan calculations, fuel planning, and weight and balance, and validate alternates and NOTAMs.
- Employ advanced avionics and the FMS to execute efficient, precise, and smooth operations from departure to arrival.
- Lead effective crew resource management, mentor the SIC, and coordinate seamlessly with dispatch and maintenance.
- Deliver a refined, client-focused experience and adapt to dynamic itineraries with a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Maintain currency, training, and documentation to the highest professional standard.
🧰 What you bring
- Strong understanding of aviation weather, airport performance, flight plan calculations, fuel planning, and weight and balance.
- Expert knowledge of CARs and proven SMS safety practices.
- Hands-on experience with FMS and glass cockpit avionics.
- Clear, professional communication skills; ICAO English Level 4 or higher.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to support clients’ needs.
🌟 Minimum qualifications
- Flight time: 3,000+ hours total time
- License: ATPL — open to TCCA holders
- Medical: Class 1
- Radio: Canadian Radio Telephone License
- English proficiency: ICAO Level 4+
- Type rating: Not required — full training provided on the CL-604
- Preferred: Turbine time.
