✈️ About the role

As the CL-604 Captain, you will serve as PIC for domestic and international operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and an outstanding passenger experience. You will champion safety, steward crew resource management, and set the bar for professionalism on every flight.

🧭 What you will do

  • Act as PIC on the Challenger 604, exercising final authority for the safe conduct of each flight.
  • Plan and execute flights in compliance with all applicable regulations, company policies, and SOPs.
  • Lead effective CRM, mentor crewmembers, and model calm, clear decision-making.
  • Conduct thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate with dispatch, maintenance, and ground teams to ensure aircraft readiness.
  • Deliver a polished, discreet, and service-focused experience for passengers.
  • Maintain currency, training, and accurate flight and duty records.
  • Use EFB tools and Microsoft Office applications to support operational tasks and reporting.

🧰 Minimum qualifications

  • Total time: 2,500 hours
  • PIC time: 2,000 hours
  • Turbine time: 1,000 hours
  • Type rating: Required (Challenger 604)
  • License: ATP (FAA)
  • Medical: Class 1

🌟 Preferred profile

  • 250 hours in type within the prior 12 months.
  • Demonstrated leadership in two-crew turbine operations.
  • Strong record of SMS participation and safety reporting.

Preferred experience is not required but will strengthen your candidacy.

🪪 Additional requirements

  • Valid FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit.
  • Valid passport and valid driver’s license.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and electronic tablet (iPad) workflows.
  • Successful completion of a 10-year background check, pre-employment drug test, and Criminal History Records Check (CHRC).
  • Ability to freely enter and exit countries worldwide where NEA is authorized to fly.
