Challenger 600 Captain (CL-600, Type-Rated)

🧭 Your mission

  • Serve as Pilot in Command on the Challenger CL-600, ensuring uncompromising safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Execute domestic and international missions with impeccable airmanship, CRM, and passenger service.
  • Plan and brief every leg thoroughly, optimizing performance, fuel, alternates, and weather/NOTAM considerations.
  • Lead the flight team, mentor crew members, and maintain professional standards in all phases of flight.
  • Uphold company SOPs and best practices while delivering a refined, client-focused experience.

🧰 What you’ll bring (Minimum requirements)

  • Total time: 4,000 hours
  • PIC time: 2,000 hours
  • Multi-engine: 2,000 hours
  • Turbine: 1,000 hours
  • Type rating: Required (Challenger CL-600)
  • IFR logged: 300 hours
  • Part 91/135 experience
  • No more than 2 checkride failures

🌟 Preferred

  • PIC time in type: 250 hours (preferred)

⏱️ Currency

  • 150 hours flight time in the previous 365 days
  • 30 hours flight time in the previous 90 days

🎓 Certificates and medical

  • License required: ATP
  • Accepted licenses: FAA
  • Medical: Class 1

🛡️ Additional requirements and compliance

  • No accidents, incidents, or FAA enforcement actions in the last 5 years
  • Meets the requirements of ICAO Annex 1-2.1.10 for multi-pilot international commercial air transport operations
  • Authorization to travel to/from all cities and countries served by our Vista Family of Companies
  • Authorization to work in the United States
