Gary Jet Center, Inc. is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Second-In-Command for our Challenger 300 operation based at Gary/Chicago International Airport (KGYY). Fly a well-supported program operating under Part 91 owner operations and on-demand Part 135 charter, with a clear training path to upgrade to PIC.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Execute safe, efficient flight operations as SIC across Part 91 and Part 135 missions.
- Support and learn from the PIC while actively preparing for upgrade to PIC.
- Be highly knowledgeable of the Company GOM, Flight Operations Manual, FAA regulations, aircraft flight manuals, and all relevant directives.
- Complete duties delegated from the PIC’s job description and assist with preflight, inflight, and postflight responsibilities.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, customer service, and safety culture.
🧰 What you’ll bring
- License: Commercial Pilot Certificate (CPL)
- Medical: FAA Second Class Medical
- Travel: Current U.S. Passport
- Minimum Flight Time: 2,000 hours total time
- Multi-Engine: 200 hours Multi-Engine Land (MEL)
- PIC: 1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command (PIC) time
- Instrument: 100 hours instrument time
- Location Preference: Reside within approximately two hours of KGYY (preferred)
