Executive Jet Management (a NetJets/Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary) is seeking a Pilot in Command for a Challenger 300 based at KDVT in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a non-commutable, two-pilot Part 135 operation supported by a dedicated Maintenance Technician, with annual utilization of approximately 350 flight hours.

✈️ Role overview

As Pilot in Command, you hold final responsibility for the safe, compliant, and efficient operation of a Challenger 300. You will lead all phases of flight, deliver an exceptional owner/passenger experience, and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and safety within EJM’s Safety Management System (SMS).

🧭 Key responsibilities

  • Ensure safe operation of every flight, including crewing and trip compliance.
  • Lead flight planning, aircraft performance, and weight & balance calculations.
  • Apply TPC briefing methodology and adhere to all SOPs and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as Grounds/In-Flight Security Coordinator.
  • Oversee pre-flight tasks, discrepancy records, and ground servicing.
  • Deliver clear passenger briefings and an exceptional service experience to owners and guests.
  • Practice disciplined CRM and TEM throughout all phases of flight.
  • Maintain proficiency, regulatory/company training currency, and active participation in the SMS program.

🧰 Qualifications

  • Prior experience in FAR Part 135 operations.
  • Type rating in CL300 (strongly preferred).
  • Able to perform the essential functions of the position.
  • Must reside in, or be willing to relocate to, the Phoenix area.

📏 Minimum flight experience

  • Total Time: 3,500 hours
  • Multi-Engine Land (MEL): 1,500 hours
  • Pilot in Command (PIC): 2,000 hours
  • PIC MEL: 500 hours
  • Instrument: 300 hours
  • Jet: 500 hours
