🧭 The mission
As Captain on our Challenger 300/350 (CL-30), you will lead safe, compliant, and customer-focused operations across diverse routes and conditions. You’ll set the tone for professionalism in the flight deck, deliver an exceptional passenger experience, and model a safety-first culture on every leg.
🧰 What you’ll do
- Ensure strict compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, checklists, and best practices.
- Plan, brief, and execute domestic and international flights, often across multiple time zones and rapidly changing weather.
- Perform flight duties for up to 14 hours per day during trips of up to 8 consecutive days, maintaining readiness and crew coordination.
- Exercise sound judgment and high accountability in all operational decisions.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with crew, dispatch/maintenance, and clients—verbally and in writing.
- Deliver a polished, customer-first experience from first impression through arrival.
- Handle and care for animals before, during, and after flights as needed.
- Safeguard confidential information and demonstrate impeccable integrity.
- Maintain accurate records, currency, and training; uphold current IFR knowledge and proficiency.
- Manage fatigue and sleep effectively to ensure fitness for duty.
- Occasionally move and position items up to 80 pounds in support of flight operations.

🛩️ Minimum flight experience
- Total time: 4,500 hours
- Pilot-in-Command (PIC): 3,000 hours
- In type (CL-30): 300 hours
- Multi-engine: 1,000 hours
- Jet: 800 hours
- Instrument: 300 hours; current IFR knowledge and experience
🪪 Certifications & licensing
- Type rating: CL-30 required (type-rated candidates only)
- Licenses: CPL with IR and ME — FAA only
- Medical: FAA First Class
- Radio permit: FCC Restricted Radiotelephone Operator Permit
- Travel documents: Valid passport and driver’s license
- Work authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not provided
📍 Base, residency & schedule
- Base: SLC, Salt Lake City, UT
- Residency: Reside within approximately a 2-hour drive of SLC or be willing to relocate within 2 months
- Duty profile: Trips may run up to 8 consecutive days with duty periods up to 14 hours
