🧭 What you’ll do

  • Support the Captain in all phases of flight: preflight planning, performance calculations, weight and balance, and checklists.
  • Operate within a structured crew environment, practicing effective CRM and clear communication.
  • Maintain strict compliance with company procedures and all applicable FARs and other Federal, State, Local, and Foreign regulations affecting operations.
  • Leverage EFB/iPad aviation apps for charts, performance, weather, and flight releases.
  • Uphold the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and passenger service.

🧰 Minimum qualifications

  • Total time: 1,500 hours
  • Pilot experience: 1+ year of professional pilot experience
  • Type rating: CE‑500 (Cessna Citation I / I‑SP) required
  • License: FAA CPL with Instrument and Multi-Engine
  • Medical: FAA First-Class
  • Education: 2+ years of college or an Associate Degree
  • Vision: Specific abilities required include close and distance vision

🌟 Preferred qualifications

  • 100+ hours of jet time in aircraft of the same or similar category, class, and type as those operated by McKee Foods
  • Experience flying in a structured crew environment
  • EMB‑145 type rating a plus

🧠 Skills & competencies

  • Proficiency with aviation iPad/EFB applications
  • Strong computer skills, including Google Workspace
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and government regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent math skills and sound aeronautical decision-making
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current business aviation practices and regulations, including the FARs and applicable Federal, State, Local, and Foreign requirements impacting operations
