🧭 What you’ll do

  • Serve as Captain on the Cessna Caravan 208 based in Winnipeg within Morningstar’s dedicated air-cargo network.
  • Operate safely and efficiently in accordance with company SOPs and Canadian Aviation Regulations.
  • Conduct thorough pre-flight planning, performance calculations, and post-flight duties.
  • Coordinate with dispatch, ground teams, and maintenance to ensure on-time, secure cargo movements.
  • Uphold a strong safety culture integrated across all operations.
  • Enjoy an average of 12–14 duty-period days per month, with most weekends and holidays off.

🧰 What you bring

  • Minimum flight experience (one of):
    • 1,500 hours total time; or
    • 1,200 hours total time including 300 hours on C208.
  • Licences & certifications:
    • Valid Canadian ATPL; or valid CPL with current IFR (Group 1 or Group 3).
    • Transport Canada Category 1 Medical.
  • Eligibility & clearances:
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a RAIC.
    • Valid passport and ability to travel to the USA.
    • Provincial driver’s licence.
    • Immediate authorization to work in Canada.

💵 Pay, schedule & extras

  • Base salary: Starting at CA$77,280 per year, with two pay-level increases annually.
  • Per diem: CA$4.75 per duty hour while away from home base.
  • Schedule: Average 12–14 duty-period days/month; most weekends and holidays off.
