As a Caravan Captain, you’ll command single-pilot IFR and VFR cargo flights, ensuring on-time, safe, and compliant operations within a structured SOP and SMS framework.

🧭 What You’ll Do

Operate the Cessna 208 Caravan to company and regulatory standards, prioritizing safety and on-time performance.
Plan and execute flights in diverse Canadian weather, including single-pilot IFR; conduct thorough preflight, fuel planning, and performance calculations.
Manage weight and balance, cargo loading integrity, and secure handling in accordance with FedEx and company procedures.
Adhere to SOPs, SMS reporting, and quality-assurance processes; maintain spotless flight and technical records.
Coordinate effectively with dispatch, maintenance, and ground teams; ensure regulatory and customs compliance for US operations.
Champion a positive safety culture and professional standards across all duties.

🧰 Minimum Qualifications

License: TCCA CPL with IR
Instrument Rating: Group 1 or Group 3
Medical: Class 1
Experience: 1500 hours total time, or 1200 hours total time with 300 hours on type
Language Proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher
Security: Able to obtain an airport RAIC
Travel: Eligible to travel to the USA
Documents: Valid passport and provincial driver’s licence
Type Rating: Not required (training provided)
