✈️ About the role
As a Cessna 208 Caravan Captain based in Toronto, you will operate time-critical cargo missions with a safety-first mindset. You will be entrusted to deliver essential freight reliably and efficiently while upholding Morningstar’s high standards and procedures across a dynamic network.
🧭 What you’ll do
- Command single-pilot IFR/VFR cargo flights on the C208 in accordance with CARs and company SOPs.
- Execute thorough preflight planning, performance calculations, weight and balance, and fuel management.
- Operate safely in diverse weather and operational environments using sound airmanship and instrument proficiency.
- Coordinate effectively with dispatch, maintenance, and ground operations to ensure on-time, secure cargo movement.
- Champion our safety culture through proactive decision-making and participation in SMS and continuous improvement.
- Complete flight logs, reports, and documentation with accuracy and timeliness.
🧰 What you bring
- License: TCCA CPL with IR; Medical: Class 1.
- Instrument rating: Group 1 or Group 3.
- Total time: 1500 hours total; or 1200 hours total with 300 hours on type (C208).
- ELP: ICAO English Level 4 or higher.
- Security: Able to obtain an airport RAIC.
- Travel: Eligible to travel to the USA.
- Identification: Valid passport and provincial driver’s licence.
- Visa sponsorship: Not provided.
NTR: Type rating not required; comprehensive training provided.
