🧰 What you’ll do

• Captain the Cessna 208 Caravan in accordance with company SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Plan and execute flights with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and operational reliability.
• Conduct thorough pre‑flight preparation, performance calculations, and weather/route analysis.
• Coordinate effectively with dispatch, maintenance, and FedEx ramp operations to ensure on‑time performance.
• Maintain accurate logs, training currency, and company documentation.
• Represent Morningstar’s safety culture through sound decision‑making and professional communication.

✅ Minimum qualifications

• Total Time: 1,500 hours; or 1,200 hours total time with 300 hours on type (C208).
• Licence: TCCA Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) with IR.
• Instrument Rating: Group 1 or 3.
• Medical: Class 1.
• Language Proficiency: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher.
• Security Clearance: Ability to obtain an airport RAIC.
• Travel: Ability to travel to the USA.
• Documents: Valid passport and provincial driver’s license.
• Visa sponsorship: Not provided.
• Type Rating: Not required — company training provided.

🎓 Training and onboarding

Non‑type‑rated candidates are welcome. Comprehensive company training and Caravan conversion are provided to qualified hires to set you up for safe, confident line operations.

📍 Where you’ll be based

This position is based at Toronto Pearson (CYYZ). Morningstar’s head office is in Edmonton, with additional flight operations bases in CYVR, CYWG, and CYYC.
