🧭 What you’ll do
- Operate as First Officer on the B787 in accordance with SOPs and regulatory requirements, including ETOPS.
- Support the Captain in safe, efficient flight operations from preflight planning through arrival, including performance calculations, fuel planning, weather/NOTAM review, and route optimization.
- Employ robust CRM and Threat & Error Management to maintain the highest safety standards and passenger confidence.
- Manage advanced glass‑cockpit systems, FMS programming, auto‑flight, and navigation with precision and discipline.
- Contribute to a positive team culture, professional customer service, and on‑time performance.
- Maintain currency and proficiency through training, checking, and continuous learning.
🧰 Minimum requirements
- Total time: Minimum 2,500 hours
- In type (B787): Minimum 1,000 hours
- License: Valid ATPL (open to ICAO licence holders)
- Medical: Class 1
- Language: ICAO ELP Level 4 or higher
- Currency: Currently flying a Boeing aircraft, or within the last 12 months
- Type rating currency: Boeing type rating valid for at least 2 months at start date
- Flight experience pathways: Meet either Criteria A or Criteria B below:
- Criteria A
- Minimum 2,500 hours total flying time
- Minimum 1,500 hours on multi‑crew, glass‑cockpit aircraft (as per operator definition)
- Minimum 1,000 hours on any Boeing aircraft
- Criteria B
- Minimum 3,000 hours total flying time
- Minimum 2,000 hours on any Boeing wide‑body aircraft
- Type rating on Boeing valid for at least 2 months at time of joining
