Boeing 767 First Officer – DHL Air Bahrain (Talent Pool)

• Act as First Officer on DHL international operations, flying safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Assist the Commander with the safe conduct of each flight: confirm aircraft airworthiness, servicing and loading; review route, terminal procedures, weather and reports; and complete assigned duties per the Company Operations Manual, SOPs and Aircraft Flight Manual.
• Maintain an independent check of aircraft position and terrain clearance; monitor progress and performance; and provide timely, relevant advice to the Commander.
• Support decision-making and administrative tasks; comply with BCAA regulations, company manuals and ATC instructions.
• Take necessary emergency action when acting as pilot-in-command during the Commander’s absence, including deviations from normal procedures when required for safety.
• Report and communicate proactively with management, maintenance, flight dispatch and relevant authorities regarding safety issues, aircraft serviceability, impairment, incidents, accidents and other reportable occurrences.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of civil aviation regulations, aircraft systems, procedures and the carriage of dangerous goods; brief passengers/jumpseaters on emergency exits and equipment when applicable.
• Champion exemplary CRM, strong crew relationships and effective decision-making to achieve high safety and on-time performance standards.

• Licences & Medical: ICAO CPL/IR with ATPL theoretical knowledge credit (fATPL) and a valid, unrestricted Class 1 Medical (corrective lenses acceptable). English Language Proficiency to the required level (provide certificate if not endorsed on the licence).
• Experience:
  • Minimum 1,500 hours total flight time, and
  • At least 500 hours on either jet aircraft with MTOM > 10 tonnes, or turboprop aircraft with MTOM > 18 tonnes.
• Skills: Strong communication, thorough understanding and continual practice of all CRM components, disciplined SOP mindset and situational awareness.
• Preferred: B757/B767 type rating and prior jet experience; recent time on type is advantageous.

• Complete copy of your flight crew licence (all pages/both sides).
• Valid Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• Last three pages of your logbook.
• Current CV including: current and previous operators, aircraft types flown, hours on current and previous types, date of last flight, and date of last B757/B767 flight (if applicable).
• English Language Proficiency certificate if not endorsed on your licence.

Required licence: ICAO CPL/IR with ATPL theory credit (fATPL)
