✈️ The Opportunity
Cargojet moves over 1,300,000 pounds of freight each business night, operating a dedicated fleet of all-cargo aircraft. As a B757 Captain based in Hamilton, you will lead safe, efficient, and on-time operations at the forefront of Canada’s cargo industry — domestically and internationally.

🧭 What You Will Do
- Lead safe, compliant operation of the Boeing 757 in line with company SOPs, SMS, and regulatory requirements.
- Execute time-sensitive overnight schedules with a strong focus on reliability and on-time performance.
- Conduct thorough preflight planning, fuel and performance calculations, weight and balance, and route selection.
- Exercise sound command decision-making in dynamic operational and weather environments.
- Mentor and develop First Officers, fostering a strong safety culture and crew resource management.
- Coordinate with OCC, maintenance, and ground teams to ensure mission readiness and operational excellence.
- Represent Cargojet’s professional standards with customers, partners, and airport authorities.
🧰 Minimum Qualifications
- License: ATPL — TCCA
- Medical: Class 1
- Total time: 5,000 hours
- PIC time: 3,000 hours
- Turbine time: 3,000 hours
- Flight time notes: 3,000 hours transport jet PIC or 500 hours PIC on type (B757)
- ICAO ELP: Level 4 or higher
- Type rating: Not required — training provided
- Open to lic. holders: TCCA
🌍 Additional Requirements
- Work eligibility: Must be eligible to work in Canada
- Travel: Able to travel without restrictions within the Cargojet network and obtain crew visas as required (including to the United States)
- Security: Able to obtain a RAIC
- Visa sponsorship: Not provided
