Step onto one of aviation’s most iconic flight decks. As a Boeing 747 First Officer, you’ll fly international, multi-crew operations and uphold the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and teamwork. This is a permanent opportunity and Non‑Type Rated (NTR) pilots are welcome — full type training is provided.

🧭 What you’ll do

  • Operate the Boeing 747 as First Officer within a multi‑crew environment, adhering to SOPs and regulatory requirements.
  • Execute all phases of flight with a strong focus on safety, situational awareness, and threat/error management.
  • Conduct thorough pre‑flight planning, performance calculations, and flight management system setup including PBN procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with the flight deck and operations teams using excellent CRM skills.
  • Champion continuous improvement, training, and a just culture with proactive safety reporting.

🧰 Minimum requirements

  • Licence: Frozen ATPL (EASA) with IR, ME, MCC, and UPRT.
  • Medical: Class 1; ICAO English: Level 6.
  • Flight experience: At least 1000 hours on a multi‑engine aircraft with MTOW > 5700 kg (time as cruise relief co‑pilot does not count) or experience as a military pilot.
  • PIC time: Minimum 100 hours.
  • Recent experience: In the 12 months prior to application, at least 150 hours in commercial aviation, or experience as a military pilot.
  • Type rating: Not required; B747 training provided. A valid type rating on a multi‑pilot aeroplane is welcome.

🌟 Additional requirements

  • Valid passport, no criminal record, and no restrictions on international travel.
  • Valid RT licence.
  • Training in PBN and UPRT.
  • No history of aviation incidents or accidents.
  • Good knowledge of the Dutch language. If you are not Dutch‑speaking, you must have passed a Dutch exam at the European Framework of Reference B2 level prior to the selection procedure.
  • Education: At least a senior general secondary education diploma including English, Mathematics, and Physics, or a recognized foreign equivalent.

Note: This position is open to EASA licence holders only. Visa sponsorship is not available.
