Join the flight deck of an aviation icon. As a Boeing 747 First Officer, you’ll operate a multi-crew, multi-engine widebody aircraft with professionalism, precision, and a safety-first mindset. This is a permanent opportunity for EASA-licensed pilots—with type rating training provided for non-type rated candidates.
✈️ About the role
As a First Officer on the Boeing 747, you will operate in a multi-crew environment to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant flight operations. You’ll contribute to flight planning, briefings, performance calculations, aircraft handling, and in-flight decision-making, while upholding SOPs, CRM, and regulatory standards at all times.
🧭 Minimum qualifications
- Licences: EASA Frozen ATPL, valid IR, MCC, ME, and UPRT
- Medical: EASA Class 1
- English Proficiency: ICAO Level 6
- PIC Time: Minimum 100 hours
- Multi-Engine Time: Minimum 1,000 hours
- Experience: At least 1,000 hours on a multi-engine aircraft with MTOW > 5,700 kg (not flown in the position of cruise relief co-pilot), or experience as a military pilot
- Type Rating: Not required on B747 (training provided). Additionally: you must hold a valid type rating on a multi-pilot aeroplane
- Currency: In the 12 months prior to application, at least 150 hours in commercial aviation, or experience as a military pilot
- Right to Work/Travel: Visa sponsorship is not provided; unrestricted international travel required

- Passport: Valid
- Background: No criminal record; no history of aviation incidents/accidents
- Travel: No restrictions on international travel
- Communications: RT licence
- Training: Trained in PBN and UPRT
- Language: Good knowledge of Dutch. Non-Dutch-speaking candidates must have passed a B2-level exam (CEFR) prior to the selection procedure
🎓 Education
At least a senior general secondary education diploma including English, mathematics, and physics, or an equivalent qualification for foreign education.
