Qatar Airways is seeking an accomplished Boeing 747-8i Captain to join its world-class flight operations team in Doha, Qatar. Lead widebody, worldwide missions while upholding the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and service.
🧭 The opportunity
As a Boeing 747-8i Captain, you will command long-haul and ultra-long-haul operations across global destinations. You will champion safety, lead a high-performing crew, and deliver an exceptional passenger experience while operating within a diverse, international environment.
🧰 Minimum qualifications
- Total time: 6,000+ hours
- PIC on jet aircraft: 2,000+ hours
- B747 experience: B747-8i type rating or previous B747 experience with at least 500 hours, plus previous experience operating the B747 as Captain
- License: Valid ICAO ATPL
- Medical: Valid unrestricted Class 1
- English proficiency: Minimum ICAO Level 4
- Operational scope: Demonstrated worldwide operational experience
