Step into the left seat and lead safe, efficient operations on the Boeing 737NG. This permanent opportunity welcomes experienced airline Captains from jet or high-performance turboprop backgrounds. Non–type-rated candidates are encouraged—full B737NG training and type rating will be provided to selected Captains.

🧭 Role overview

As Captain, you will lead flight operations on the B737NG, championing safety, regulatory compliance, and exceptional decision-making. You will mentor the crew, ensure SOP adherence, and deliver an outstanding passenger experience while operating within DGCA and company standards.

🧰 Minimum qualifications

  • Total Time: 3,000+ hours
  • PIC Time: 500+ hours
  • License: ATPL (Accepted License: DGCA India)
  • Medical: Class 1 (current)
  • ICAO English: Level 4 or higher

🌟 Experience pathways

We welcome Captains from both jet and turboprop backgrounds who meet the following airline experience profiles:

  • Captain with Jet Aircraft Experience
    • Total Flying Experience: 3,000+ hours
    • Airline Experience: 1,000+ hours on jet aircraft
    • Minimum 500 PIC hours on aircraft with AUW > 5,700 kgs
  • Captain with Turboprop Aircraft Experience
    • Total Flying Experience: 3,000+ hours
    • Airline Experience: 1,500+ hours on turboprop aircraft
    • Minimum 500 PIC hours on aircraft with AUW > 10,000 kgs

📜 Additional requirements

  • Pilot’s Proficiency Check (current)
  • FRTOL and COP/RTR
  • Indian National or OCI Card Holder
  • Certificate of incident/accident-free record, breath analyzer, and details of any enforcement action taken against the license by DGCA (if applicable)
  • Mandatory eGCA ID with all licenses and documents validated

🎓 Training and progression

Type rating is not required. Selected Captains will receive B737NG training and type rating, followed by line training and checks in accordance with DGCA and company standards. This pathway is designed for proven airline Captains ready to transition to the B737NG.
