🧭 What you’ll do

  • Captain the Beechcraft Super King Air, ensuring safe, compliant, and passenger-centered operations.
  • Maintain a current PPC and currency within the responsible aircraft grouping.
  • Deliver excellent customer service with clear, professional communication.
  • Exercise strong decision-making and problem-solving in dynamic environments.
  • Demonstrate effective organization and time management across all phases of flight.
  • Adhere to the safety accountabilities outlined in Sunwest’s Safety Management System (SMS) manual.

🧰 Minimum requirements

  • Total Time: 1,500 hours
  • Pilot-in-Command: 500 hours
  • Multi-Engine: 900 hours
  • Turbine: 200 hours
  • Licence: ATPL (TCCA)
  • Medical: Class 1
  • ICAO ELP: Level 4 or higher
  • Type Rating: Not required — training provided

🌟 Preferred

  • Time on type (Super King Air) preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and polished customer service.
  • Proven teamwork and CRM in multi-crew turbine operations.

🔐 Compliance and clearances

  • RAIC: Eligibility to obtain and maintain a RAIC is required.
  • Background Check: Successful completion of a criminal background check.
  • PPC/Currency: Maintain current PPC and currency for the applicable aircraft grouping.
